Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company

History

The Kingsville Fire Company was formed in 1954 and the first president was Harry Probert. Harry built and was living in the house where this web site is created. Surely, some of the early organizational meetings took place in my living room. More information about the company can be found at the KVFC web site.

Community

Communities in areas outside of Baltimore County have city halls and other city or village facilities. Without incorporated towns in Baltimore County, we are sometimes left without those local facilities that help to instill a feeling of community. For Kingsville, the fire hall helps serve that purpose - with meetings held there and pancake breakfasts where neighbors can sit and converse. Watch the notice board at the corner of Belair Rd and Goettner Ave for announcements.

Expansion

The company, with over 2000 calls per year, outgrew its facility, much of it built in 1957. A new engine bay and other facilities were recently added. All residents are urged to support this expansion with contributions.
